Jack & Janet
On April 4, 2007, our home burned in West Fargo. After considering our options, we decided to build a replacement at the same location. Having heard many “horror stories” from people who had homes built for them, we were very cautious about who to select as our contractor. A family member suggested we talk to Heritage Homes because he had heard good things about them while working in construction. Our caution led us to also contact two other contractors. Right from the initial visit, the professional manner in which Heritage conducted themselves made choosing them an easy decision.
From helping us select a floor plan, to all of the many details involved in having a home built, the Heritage staff was very helpful, informative and friendly. They laid out a plan of construction with target dates that spelled out exactly what needed to be done and what role we needed to play to make it happen. Whether it was selecting kitchen cabinets, light fixtures, carpeting or any of the many other choices we needed to make, Heritage and their sub-contractors were right there to help and answer questions making what we thought would be a scary experience, fun and exciting.
Watching the construction process with high quality materials and professional workmanship made us realize that we had made a good decision. Perhaps you have heard that contractors don’t stand behind their work. Well that does not apply to Heritage! They have a service department that lays out a follow-up plan in the first year where they contact the customer to see what minor details or problems need to be solved. They then promptly take care of those things. What peace of mind that gave us.
If you are planning to build a new home in this area, we believe there is only one place you need to go, and that is Heritage Homes. They are true building professionals.
