Jon is busy getting bids most days in an effort to provide the most accurate estimates possible. He also has experience in construction, color rendering and drafting. Jon is all about the details, which is a great characteristic to have in his role. Born and raised in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, our Heritage Homes Project Manager still enjoys calling the beautiful town home today. He built his own home on a 4-acre rural lake lot and loves being outside enjoying all the beauty nature has to offer. So what else don’t we know about Jon? Let’s find out!
1) Where is your favorite place to travel?
I’m not a big traveler, but I have enjoyed taking my family to Wisconsin Dells a couple times.
2) What are your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy all aspects of deer hunting, planting food plots, trail camera’s, scouting and hunting with my bow. I enjoy watching my kids in all of their sporting activities and helping them practice to improve their skills. I also coach youth wrestling and enjoy fantasy football.
3) Family, Pets?
I married my high school sweetheart, Amanda and have two wonderful kids, Brynn – my 10 year old daughter and Mox – my 8 year old son. We also have a 12 year old Chocolate Lab named Cooper and may be adding a Silver Lab puppy to the family this summer.
4) Where is your favorite place to go/eat at in the Fargo-Moorhead area?
Paradiso, Qdoba, Pancheros, pretty much any Mexican food and I’m happy.
5) What is your favorite activity to do in the summer months?
I enjoy sitting around a bonfire by the lake and working on house or yard projects, I’m always working on something. I also actually enjoy mowing my large yard, over 2 acres, (probably because I grew up on a farm and it brings back memories of working in the fields as a kid).
6) What excites you about working on the Heritage Homes Team?
Being a part of a team that works hard yet has fun doing it. I’m also very proud of the product we put out for our customers.
7) Summer is here, what is your drink of choice?
8) If you were an emoji which would you be?
