Our Community

"For it is in giving that we receive."

St. Francis of Assisi

Our definition of a community is broader than the neighborhood in which your home is located. That's why you'll see us involved in projects for the greater good of the region and the state.

100 Days- an Access family build

Heritage Homes led a 100-day community-wide effort to transform a deteriorated facility into a place nine young people now call "home." They're all clients of Access of the Red River Valley; kids and young adults with emotional, physical and developmental disabilities. We felt they deserve a chance to live like other kids, to be part of a family, in a safe and nurturing environment.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

When Ty shouted his famous words, "Move that bus," what one Minot, ND family saw was a product of Heritage Homes and friends. ABC producers from the hit show liked our "can-do" attitude so they invited us to participate in another makeover in New Orleans.

Heritage Homes Holiday event

Every family deserves a Merry Christmas and we play Santa to 10 local families in need. Heritage Homes invites them to a holiday weekend in a local hotel, complete with pool party, good eats, a visit from Santa and of course, the gifts.
