Tyrone Leslie Earns North Dakota Professional Builder Certification

The North Dakota Association of Builders is proud to announce that Tyrone Leslie, personal builder and COO of Heritage Homes has met the required standards and criteria to become a certified "North Dakota Professional Builder." A home is the largest investment consumers will ever make, and it makes sense to work with a designated professional in the home building industry.

Tyrone began his career in 1988 as a Real Estate Agent selling both existing homes and new construction. He was one of the top three agents in Winnipeg, Canada for new home sales 5 years running. He moved to Fargo in 1998 and became involved in the creation of Heritage Homes. Tyrone has been an active member in the Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead. He has served as Chair for the Public Issues Committee, the Political Action Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors for the HBA. In addition, he is currently the President Elect for the HBA. Tyrone holds the titles of Certified Green Professional and a Certified Graduate Builder by the National Association of Home Builder’s. He has also been certified as a North Dakota Professional Builder by the North Dakota Association of Builder’s. He continues to advance his career as one of the premier builders in the Fargo Moorhead Area.

• have held a contractor’s license in North Dakota for at least two years;

• comply with all state laws related to contractors;

• build in compliance with appropriate local, state, and national building codes;

• meet membership requirements of a local home builders association;

• adhere to the Code of Ethics of the North Dakota Association of Builders; and

• complete seven credit hours of accredited continuing education annually
