Day 5 of the Build

Today, the team from Laughlin Electric led the charge in electrical work as we worked to get everything done to ensure that completion is on time.Over 160 can lights were installed today and once again, Precision Plumbing led the charge in plumbing and completed all plumbing work within the entire development! Go North Dakota! Several times during the night, the lights went out from the generators and workers were forced to work in the dark….but we still kept on working! J A group of volunteers had to dig a trench around the entire foundation by hand in order to run a drain tile line and the group from NDSCS once again showed up and worked on various aspects of the build. It was yet another day of over 20 hours of work by almost every member of the Heritage Homes team and every one of our trades! The house was waterproofed and closed in today and while sheet rocking began, the roofing was also completed. The plumbing, electrical, mechanical and all insulation was also completed today! More than 4 ENTIRE SEMI LOADS of scrap material was hauled away from the site. The Cabinets were staged and readied to begin installation in early hours tomorrow. Ty and Paul both did celebrity spots within the home today and construction continued on their theme rooms which will be unveiled to the family upon their return!!!
