Day 1 of the trip

After a great send-off from friends, family, coworkers, media and the community our team left Fargo at approximately 1 pm.  However, before we hit interstate we already had to turn around because we forgot something. :)  We still think we did pretty good considering.

We drove right through the night and at 8:30 am arrived in Memphis and took some time to see Graceland. All of us had a great time.   Daryl drove from 1pm to 8:30 am.....straight! That is over 1,000 miles! For all of us who know him, it really isn't a surprise. :)

So far, our RV is averaging less than 9 miles to the gallon and we have already incountered a small water problem. But, since we can build a house in just 4 days.....that water issue was fixed within an hour.

Between all of us, we have averaged less than 8 hours a sleep so far.....a great Extreme start!

Another team member has arrived, Neil Lotvedt, flew in today and many more members will be arriving soon!
